The Jewish Bar Association of San Francisco is made up of lawyers in San Francisco Bay Area who have, to varying degrees, Jewish backgrounds, identities, families, or friends.
Some practice Judaism as a religion, others identify as ethnically or culturally Jewish, and yet others are friends and colleagues of Jews. All have an interest in developing relationships with one another and exploring the ways in which Jewish belief, tradition, and experience impact the profession of law.
The Jewish Bar Association of San Francisco provides opportunities for Jewish and Non-Jewish lawyers in San Francisco to connect with one another, discuss shared goals and ideas related to law and legal practice, explore legal issues related to Judaism and the Jewish-American experience, and deepen their relationships with each other and the community.
The mission of the Jewish Bar Association of San Francisco, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is to create a forum for Jewish and non-Jewish attorneys and judges in the Bay Area to promote the educational, social, and professional advancement of Jewish members of the bar, and to serve as an educational resource, voice, and forum for our members on issues relating to the practice of law, the courts, and the community.
