About Decalogue Society of Lawyers

The Decalogue Society of Lawyers was founded in 1934 to promote justice in society and to advance and improve the law, administration of justice and legal profession.

The Decalogue Society of Lawyers is the nation’s oldest Jewish bar association. Decalogue’s mission is to advance our lawyers’ professional development, raise the standards of the bar and bench, educate the public on legal and Jewish issues, and maintain vigilance against discriminatory public and private practices, particularly anti-Semitism. Also, we are dedicated to supporting Jewish interests through building relationships with attorneys and professionals in other ethnic and religious organizations and the Jewish community at large.
